আমাদের কথা
বাণিজ্যিক স্বার্থ রক্ষায় ব্যস্ত মূল স্রোতে থাকা মিডিয়া। তার তুলনায় সংখ্যায় অনেক কম বিকল্প মিডিয়া। যারা বিভিন্ন মাত্রায় প্রগতিশীল দৃষ্টিকোণের প্রতিফলন ঘটায়। তবে প্রকৃত অর্থেই সম্পূর্ণ প্রগতিশীল ও রাডিক্যাল দৃষ্টিভঙ্গির অনুসারী বিকল্প মিডিয়া অত্যন্ত স্বল্প। তেমন মিডিয়া গড়ার লক্ষ্যেই এই উদ্যোগ।
এই মিডিয়া জনসাধারণের জীবন, দৈনন্দিন বাস্তবতাকে তুলে ধরতে চেষ্টা চালাবে। দারিদ্র-বৈষম্য মুক্তি, সামাজিক ন্যায়বিচার প্রতিষ্ঠা, মানবাধিকার রক্ষা ও পরিবেশ সংরক্ষণের প্রচেষ্টায় সামিল হবে। যুক্তিবাদ, মুক্তচিন্তা ও সুস্থ সংস্কৃতিকে পাথেয় করবে। সার্বভৌমত্ব, অর্থনৈতিক স্বনির্ভরতা, গণতন্ত্র ও ধর্মনিরপেক্ষতার পক্ষে অবস্থান নেবে। আর ‘‘দুনিয়ার সেরা মতবাদ — মানবজাতির মুক্তির লড়াই’’-কে ভিত্তি করে পথ চলতে অঙ্গীকারবদ্ধ থাকবে।
প্রগতিশীল বিকল্প মিডিয়া হিসাবে প্রগতির পথে সমসাময়িক ঘটনাবলী সম্পর্কিত সংবাদ বিশ্লেষণ পেশ করতে যথাসম্ভব প্রয়াসী হবে। বিশেষত সমাজ বিজ্ঞান, দর্শন ও সাহিত্য সংস্কৃতি বিষয়ে আলোকপাত করার চেষ্টা চালাবে।
About Us
Mainstream media is busy serving commercial interests. Alternative media are not many in comparison to commercial media. But they reflect varying amounts of progressive views. Though, fully progressive and radical alternative media are actually very few in number. This initiative aims at building such a media.
Progressive Path will try to present general people’s lives, their day to day reality. It will express solidarity with efforts for eradicating poverty and discrimination, establishing social justice as well as human rights, and environmental conservation. This media stands for scientific outlook, freedom of thought and healthy culture. Supports struggles for sovereignty, economic independence, democracy and secularism. In fact, it follows “the finest cause in all the world──the fight for the Liberation of Mankind”.
This progressive alternative media will try to present news analysis on current affairs. Especially it will focus on social science, philosophy as well as literature and culture.
